Ferrari takes silver in the Centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa

05 July 2024

The 100th edition of the 24h of Spa will go down in history as a particularly challenging one. The difficult weather conditions were partly responsible for more than 20 Full Course Yellows.

AF Corse Francorchamps Motors Ferrari 296 GT3 #51 driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, Alessio Rovera and Davide Rigon showed a very steady pace during the entire race. The entire team worked smoothless together and car #51 managed to stay out of collisions and troubles despite the challenging conditions. After 457 laps and with a general lead of over 20 seconds, our chances for an epic victory disappeared suddenly when a car blocked the pit lane entry with only 50 minutes on the clock.

Pier Guidi lost more than 40 seconds waiting for the Lamborghini to be pulled out of the way and he rejoined the race only at 8th position. With an incredible drive, he managed to catch up six cars securing second overall position which is an accomplishment we should all be proud of. With only 33 seconds behind the winning Aston Martin, our team has proven it has all it takes for securing many more race wins in the future.

The entire team of Francorchamps Motors Brussels wishes to congratulate the wonderful team of AF Corse Francorchamps Motors, all drivers, technicians, engineers and partners, for their utmost effort and strong display of teamwork. We take this one as one family, on to more successes!
