Ferrari wins the 24 Hours of Le Mans

02 July 2024

The 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world’s oldest sports car endurance race, has been organised for the first time in 1923. Since that first edition, Ferrari managed to secure the first place 11 times with 2024 being the second win in a row after the win in 2023.

Everybody remembers the historical win of Ferrari in 2023 returning after 50 years to the most important class, the Hypercar, on the racetrack of Le Sarthe in France for the centenary edition of the mythical 24 hours endurance race. More than 350.000 people witnessed the thrill of that moment.

Now, one year later, Ferrari has done it again. Inspired by the legendary win of the Ferrari 499P #51 driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi in 2023 and the impeccable teamwork, the Ferrari 499P #50 driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen crossed the finish line first after 311 laps.

With an average speed of 176,3 km/h over 24 hours 1 minute and 55,8 seconds, the Ferrari AF Corse Ferrari 499P #50 finished 36,73 seconds before its sister car #51shared by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi, last year’s winners. This results in Ferrari AF Corse securing first and third place on the overall podium

This is what Ferrari is all about: vivere la passione in famiglia!
